So in the midst of all of my hobbies, I decided to take on a 1/4 of an allotment.
It’s an idyllic place that I have no time to frequent least of all water.
After carefully germinating some courgette seeds into little seedlings; placing them from seed trays into pots as they grew happily on my window sill, I finally took them outside into the dilapidated greenhouse to live while I went away for a week. As luck would have it we just so happened to have a heat wave that Easter weekend.
SO how to kill a cucumber? Go away in your van for a long weekend.
The moral of this story is that you can’t have a boss weekend in the south coast of wales in you newly converted camper-van without any casualties.
Let’s see if I get myself out of this pickle by planting some radical raddish and spinach.
