So lets fast forward 9 months from the last blog and no I didn’t have a baby. The council came through and I have a set of keys, well at least 1 key, to a metal front door, which the council want back once I am done.

None the less I am now able to, alongside Andy my architect, draw up plans to tender out to a contractor.
There has been a completely different layout designed and I am turning the house upside down, literally moving the kitchen/living room upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs. My ideas and his challenge to put it to paper to make it a reality.
Here is a picture of the upstairs bay window, yes that is a tree growing inside the house you can see there.

There has been an asbestos survey carried out and we are full of the good stuff. So first thing on the list is to get that removed.
Other than that, once the plans have been finalised I will put up a picture. The idea of the blog is to see if my optimism withstands throughout this process.
So far feeling tip top about it all.
Ps I came back from Wuhan in December and think I may have given the whole of the UK Covid19……
